Stuart Mahoney

Stuart Mahoney has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Stuart is currently working at Fusion Pharmaceuticals as the Associate Director of Chemistry, a position they started in July 2021. Before that, they held the role of Principal Scientist I at Fusion Pharmaceuticals from January 2019 to July 2021. Prior to joining Fusion Pharmaceuticals, Stuart worked as a Research Scientist III at the same company from May 2017 to January 2019.

Before their time at Fusion Pharmaceuticals, Stuart worked as a Scientist at the Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization from June 2014 to April 2017. Stuart gained valuable research experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at McMaster University from February 2013 to May 2014, where they were a member of Prof. John F. Valliant's research group focused on molecular imaging probes. Stuart also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Waterloo in September to December 2012. Additionally, they had teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo from September 2007 to April 2011.

Stuart Mahoney completed their education in the field of Chemistry. Stuart earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Windsor, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Waterloo, attending from 2007 to 2012. In addition to their academic qualifications, Stuart Mahoney has obtained several certifications related to management and professional development from LinkedIn. Stuart obtained certifications in "Management Tips" and "Using Feedback to Drive Performance" in February 2021, and certifications in "Coaching and Developing Employees" and "Make the Move from Individual Contributor to Manager" in January 2021.
