Vicki Toner has extensive work experience in the life sciences and diagnostics industry. Vicki started their career at Randox in 2004, where they served as a Research Scientist, working on various research projects and developing immunoassay tests. Vicki then became the Assay Development Team Leader, leading a team of scientists focused on the characterization and validation of assays. During this time, they also contributed to FDA and ISO audits by updating and writing SOPs, work instructions, CAPAs, and design history files.
In 2014, Vicki joined SQI Diagnostics as a Research Associate, where they conducted immunoassay and molecular assay characterization and validation. Vicki later became a PD Scientist, responsible for designing and transferring assays to manufacturing and providing customer training. In their role as Product Performance Manager, they led a team of data scientists and worked closely with cross-functional departments to improve the performance and cost-effectiveness of SQI's diagnostics products and services.
Vicki's most recent position was at Fusion Pharmaceuticals, where they served as the Director of External Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing Operations. Vicki was responsible for overseeing manufacturing activities, inventory management, logistics, and quality control in an ISO-13485 facility.

Vicki Toner began their education in 2001 and attended Ulster University for their undergraduate studies. From 2001 to 2004, they pursued a B.Sc (Hons) Applied Biochemical Sciences degree, focusing on the field of Biochemistry. After a gap of several years, in 2017, Vicki enrolled at Mohawk College. Although they did not pursue a specific degree, they did complete a course in Introduction to Project Management.
