J. Kevin Reid has extensive experience in executive leadership and information technology management. Starting in 1984, they served as the F-14 Senior Avionics System Engineer and Supervisor for the Naval Air Systems Command, managing the acquisition and development of weapon systems/avionics programs.
Reid then joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 1995, where they held various roles, including Unit Chief for Engineering and Technical Program Manager. J. Kevin led the automation of the FBI's fingerprint operations and established development and engineering processes for CJIS Division's IT projects.
In 2005, Reid became the National Data Exchange (N-DEx) Program Manager, overseeing the design and deployment of a nationally scaled information sharing system for law enforcement. J. Kevin later served as the Next Generation Identification Executive Program Manager, successfully completing the $2.6 billion program on scope, under budget, and on schedule.
Reid continued their career at the FBI as the Deputy Assistant Director of the IT Customer Relationship and Management Division and Assistant Director of the IT Infrastructure Division, where they provided leadership in IT cost transparency, program management, and enterprise consolidation.
In 2016, Reid joined KeyLogic Systems as the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of National Security, delivering strategic security solutions to government customers.
Currently, Reid holds the position of Chief Information Officer and Senior Executive Vice President at Fusion Technology LLC. In this role, they oversee information technology operations, develops technology strategies, and drives organizational growth and efficiency. Under their leadership, the company has achieved significant revenue growth.
J. Kevin Reid has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from West Virginia University. J. Kevin also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Marymount University. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering from Central Michigan University. In terms of certifications, they have a Senior Level Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Manager (FAC-P/PM) - Expert/Senior Level III from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), a Program Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, and a CIO Certification in Federal Executive Competencies from Carnegie Mellon University.
