Matt Leaver

Matt Leaver has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Matt most recently worked at Fussy as the Head of Growth starting in 2022. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they held the role of Growth Director at Tailwise, where they played a crucial role in transforming people's attitudes towards animal welfare. At Tailwise, their responsibilities included building financial models and creating and testing ad copy.

From 2020 to 2021, Matt worked as the Director of Consultancy at Iterate Growth, where they specialized in helping startups scale through experiment-based marketing and growth frameworks. Matt was instrumental in reducing costs and implementing product research surveys for various clients.

Before that, Matt held the position of Head of Digital, Europe at Rover.com from 2018 to 2020. In this role, they oversaw customer acquisition and growth marketing across Rover's European markets, successfully migrating all digital marketing channels to the Rover brand.

Prior to their tenure at Rover.com, Matt worked at DogBuddy, which was later acquired by Rover.com. Matt served as the Head of Digital Marketing from 2017 to 2018, where they helped connect dog owners with reliable dog sitters. Matt also previously worked as the Digital Marketing Manager at DogBuddy from 2016 to 2017.

Matt's career started at Artefact in 2012, where they held various roles, including Account Director - Acquisition Marketing and Digital Account Manager, before being promoted to Account Director in 2014. At Artefact, they successfully managed client acquisition channels and exceeded customer expectations.

In 2011, Matt worked as an Online Account Executive at Guava UK.

Matt Leaver completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Studies at the University of the West of England from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Bing Ads Accredited from Microsoft in December 2014.
