Kevin Byun

Cloud Architect at Fusus

Kevin Byun has a diverse work experience in the technology field. In 2021, they began working as a Cloud Architect for Fusus. From 2018-2021, they held various roles at ANCILE Solutions, Inc., including Senior DevOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, and DevOps Engineer Intern. In 2018, they also worked as a Software Research Development Intern for Eaton - Lighting. From 2017-2018, they were an Undergraduate Researcher for the Georgia Tech Systems and Control Lab, where they developed an Autonomous Omni-directional robot to detect wind field in the room, integrated multiple sensors to create a sensor network, developed communication methods between computer station and robot, analyzed 20,000+ sensor data to generate 3-dimensional animation of wind field, and integrated OptiTrack data to create relative position of the robot. Kevin also designed a Haptic controller to provide better control over blimp's movement and feedback to users, analyzed data to see how the trial data can fit into human pointing model, and organized undergraduate team members as an experienced student.

Kevin Byun obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018. Kevin also has a certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Solutions Architect Associate, which they obtained in June 2020.
