Cts-D Dan Brown

Dan Brown, CTS-D, has a diverse work experience in the audiovisual industry. Dan started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Boston University, where they assisted with lighting design and film production. Dan then worked as an Operations & Presentation Manager at AMC Theatres.

After that, Dan held multiple roles at Avitecture, Inc., including Audio Visual Systems Designer and Service and Support Technician. In these positions, they designed AV systems for various clients and analyzed integrated AV systems' behavior. Dan also served as a Service Manager at Avitecture, Inc., where they were responsible for revenue generation and proposal development.

Dan also worked as a Systems Engineer at Audio Video Systems, providing technical engineering support and detailed system design for client proposals. Dan later joined MCW Solutions as an AV Systems Design Engineer.

Currently, Dan is the Director of Audio Visual Solutions at Futron Incorporated. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the audiovisual solutions department.

Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated strong technical skills, including system design, equipment research, and proposal development. Dan'sexperience spans across various industries, including corporate, government, houses of worship, and education markets.

Dan Brown, CTS-D, has a diverse educational background in both film production and graphic design. Dan attended Lycoming College from 1998 to 2001, earning a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Theatre. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they attended Boston University and studied Film Production. In addition to their formal education, Dan Brown has obtained several certifications in the field of technology and audiovisual systems design. These certifications include Biamp Certified Technician, CTS-D: Certified Technology Specialist-Design from Infocomm International, ClearOne Technical Specialist, DMC-D - Crestron Digital Media Designer from Crestron Electronics, and ISF-C - Certified Calibration from the Imaging Sciences Foundation - Commercial.
