Francisco Carranza

Francisco Carranza is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the automotive and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Partner at Futuraiser since May 2025, Carranza's previous roles include Chief Executive Officer of BASQUEVOLT and Member of The Supervisory Board at upcell Alliance. Additionally, Carranza has contributed as a Visiting Lecturer at London Business School, focusing on the challenges of electrification in the automotive industry. Prior experience includes senior positions at Nissan Motor Corporation, where roles ranged from Managing Director of Nissan Energy to Overseas Program Director for Strategic Partnerships and Projects, along with a tenure as Vice President of Strategy, Sales, and Marketing at Automotive Cells Company. An accomplished educator with dual MBA degrees from Cranfield School of Management and emlyon business school, Carranza also holds a Master's degree in Combustion Engines and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad de Sevilla.
