Barbara Bartels

Barbara Bartels is an experienced human resources professional with a comprehensive background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) since March 2023, Barbara has held various significant positions, including Human Resources Consultant and Assistant Vice President of Human Relations at FutureCare Health from November 2019 to present. Previously, Barbara was the Corporate Human Resources Director at FutureCare Health and Management Corporation from 2011 to November 2019, and served as Senior HR Business Partner at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center from 2008 to 2011. Barbara's experience also includes roles as Human Resources Director at Healthways and Maryland General Hospital, HR Manager at Restoration Hardware, and Regional HR Director at HCR Manorcare. Barbara began a professional career in public relations as a Public Relations Assistant at the Field Museum of Natural History.
