Regulatory and Quality Assurance Lead at Future Fertility

Samantha Sewlochan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Samantha most recently worked at Future Fertility as a Regulatory and Quality Assurance Lead. Prior to that, they served as a Quality Assurance and Regulatory Specialist at MedX Health Corp., where they supported regulatory compliance globally, maintained licenses and registrations, and supported external and internal audits and inspections.

Before that, Samantha worked at MedScrum as a Quality Assurance and Regulatory Associate and at Octane Biotech Inc as a Research Assistant. In these roles, they gained experience in writing technical experimental procedures, optimizing the purity of cell populations, and working on the optimization of cell yield.

Samantha also has experience in customer service, having worked as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative at Performance Health and as a Receptionist at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. Additionally, Samantha has managerial experience, having worked as a Marketing Manager and Crew Chief at Student Works Painting, where they were responsible for sales, staff hiring and training, and overseeing painting projects.

Samantha Sewlochan completed their Bachelor's of Science degree with a specialization in Biotechnology from Queen's University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto from 2019 to 2020. Samantha also obtained several certifications including ISO 13485:2016 Internal Auditor (TPECS) AU - Management Systems Auditing (ISO 19011:2018) and ISO 13485:2016 Internal Auditor (TPECS) MD - Medical Devices Quality Management Systems from BSI in January 2021. Additionally, they obtained the GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Medical Devices (U.S. FDA Focus) Course certification from the CITI Program in January 2023.
