Maggie Dowling is an experienced executive with a robust background in leadership and strategic management. Currently serving as Executive Manager at Maxima Group since January 2024 and as Director at Future Food Systems since December 2019, Maggie has held significant roles including Director Service SA at the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (2023), Senior Consultant - Strategy & Culture at CulturAlchemy (2022), and Chief Executive at Bedford Group (2018-2022). Additional leadership experience includes General Manager City Services for the City of Playford (2016-2018) and Chief Executive Officer at Council Solutions (2013-2016). Maggie also held the position of Director Community Services & Business Improvement at the City of Mitcham (2012-2013). An alumna of the Australian Institute of Company Directors with a Diploma in Company Directorship, Maggie holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Adelaide and is certified in Barrett Values.
Future Food Systems
Future Food Food Systems is an industry led research group established under the Australian Government’s Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) Program and commenced in 2019. The overarching aim of the CRC is to develop technologies, products and services that improve the efficiency, sustainability and nutritional outcomes of global food systems. Its commercial focus is on production of goods that have strong provenance, environmental and health credentials. Headquartered at the University of NSW in Sydney, Australia, the CRC group includes more than 50 industry, government and research partners, including international entities.
