Rick Makkinga

Rick Makkinga is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in project management and systems engineering. Currently serving as Product Owner for the Clearly Suite at Future Insight Group since January 2016, Rick leads the development of software tools aimed at optimizing projects in the built environment. Prior to this role, Rick worked as a Systems Engineer and Project Manager, focusing on innovative software solutions for clients. Notably, Rick's academic achievements include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Twente, complemented by recognition for a master thesis project and functional specifications development. Additional roles include project engineering and software development at Antea Group Nederland and light and sound engineering for university events.
