David Williams CIWFM has a strong background in facilities management, with over 18 years of experience in various roles. David started their career as an Assistant Manager at Filton Sports and Leisure Centre, where they managed all aspects of running the facility. David then moved on to become an Operations Manager at Gloucestershire Live.

In 2011, David joined Northcliffe Media as a Regional Facilities Manager, responsible for managing 10 offices in the South West region. David handled various tasks, including negotiating and managing supplier contracts, as well as coordinating essential services such as reception, security, and maintenance.

David then worked at Local World Media as a Central Facilities Manager, where they managed multiple projects, including the management of data centers and the coordination of essential services. David also assisted the Head of Property & Facilities with project management and worked closely with the procurement department on national contract initiatives.

In 2016, David joined Reach plc as a Senior Facilities Manager, overseeing the delivery and support of facilities management for a range of offices. David managed budgets for multiple business units and handled the requirements of a high-profile tenant at a large site in Cardiff.

Currently, David holds the position of Global Property & Facilities Director at Future. David is responsible for all property elements across their global property portfolio and works closely with the executive team to implement the property strategy.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in areas such as budgeting, project management, and health and safety compliance.

David Williams CIWFM attended Gloscat College in Cheltenham from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a BTEC National Diploma in emergency/public services. Prior to that, they attended Cheltenham Bournside School and Sixth Form Centre from 1989 to 1997, where they completed their GCSE's.
