Prasad Akshintala S R has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Prasad started their career at Asian Paints as a Sales & Service Technologist in the Industrial Sales Function from 1993 to 1997. Prasad then worked at Jubilant Organosys as an Assistant Product Manager and later as a Deputy Manager in the Sales Administration division, from 1998 to 2002. After that, they joined Modicare as the Head of Logistics, Warehousing, and Demand Planning from 2002 to 2005. Subsequently, they worked at The Himalaya Drug Company as the Head of Distribution, overseeing warehousing, logistics, and demand planning from 2005 to 2007.

Since 2007, Prasad has been associated with Future Supply Chain Solutions Limited where they have held various key positions, including General Manager & Zonal Head - South - Supply Chain Operations, General Manager - Brand Distribution Services, Chief - Convergence, PMO & Customer Service, Chief - Corporate Business Development, Chief - Express Business Operations, Head - Cold Chain Business Operations, Head - Customer Account Management - Food And FMCG Buisness, and most recently, Vice President & Head - Centre of Excellence.

Prasad Akshintala S R began their education journey in 1975 at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they completed their Class 1 to 12 education. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in an unspecified field of study at Delhi University from 1987 to 1991. Prasad then went on to obtain a Master's Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, completing their studies in 1993. In 1997, Prasad Akshintala S R attended the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade for a brief period, specializing in Export Marketing.
