Satheesh Velu

Satheesh Velu is a System Development Engineer at FTDI Chip since February 2021, with prior experience as a System Validation Engineer at Intel Corporation from August 2018 to January 2021, focusing on troubleshooting Ethernet PHY ICs and developing Python libraries for lab environments. Previous roles include acting as a Solution Architect for IoT projects in the semiconductor industry while working with various start-ups from May 2012 to July 2018 and serving as an IC Designer at New Japan Radio Co Ltd, where the primary focus was on low-frequency analog audio ICs. Satheesh began the career as a Student Research Assistant at the National University of Singapore, developing FPGA hardware modules for wavelet image processing. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in VLSI System Design from Coventry University, a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sona College of Technology, and an exchange study in VLSI System Design at the National University of Singapore.
