Heather McQuaid

Heather McQuaid is a co-founder and director at Future Tonic London, where expertise in human-centered design and futures thinking facilitates innovative solutions through idea generation, user research, and design thinking training. Previous experience includes serving as Principal of Human-Centered Design at PDD Group Ltd, developing business and client relationships while conducting ethnographic research. Heather also held roles as Senior Business Consultant at Conchango and Senior Interaction Designer at MAYA Design, where significant contributions included developing methods for product evaluation and leading interdisciplinary teams. Educational background includes an MA in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University and an MS in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, with dual BA degrees in Psychology and German Language and Literature from Allegheny College.
