Colm O'Kane

Colm O'Kane has extensive experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and wind energy resource management. Currently serving as Technical Analysis - Resource Manager for FuturEnergy Ireland since December 2021, Colm previously held positions including Wind and GIS Resource Manager and GIS Analyst at Coillte from June 2008 to December 2021, and GIS Analyst at North Western Regional Fisheries Board from February 2007 to July 2008. Colm began a career in GIS as a technician at Northern Ireland Water from December 2005 to February 2007. Colm's academic qualifications include a Post Graduate degree in Geographic Information Systems from Ulster University, a Diploma in EIA and SEA Management from University College Dublin, and a BSc in Geography from Ulster University.
