Sungjae Hwang

Sungjae (Jay) Hwang is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive with extensive experience in startup acceleration and investment. Currently, Hwang serves as the CEO and Co-founder of XYZ Inc. since January 2020, and as a Venture Partner and Co-founder at FuturePlay, a tech startup accelerator, since March 2014. Hwang previously held key positions as Partner and Co-founder at FoundationX, a blockchain startup accelerator, and at another tech startup accelerator. Additionally, Hwang has contributed as an Advisor and Investor for companies such as Venditz and Pium, Inc., and served as CPO and Co-founder of Fluenty Inc., which was acquired by Samsung Electronics in 2017. Hwang holds a PhD in HCI (Culture Technology) and multiple degrees in computer science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and Kwangwoon University.
