Joren Kruip has a diverse work experience. In 2008, they worked as a Team Leader at Albert Heijn, a Dutch grocery retailer. In 2012, they worked as a Direct Dialogue Fundraiser for SQPeople. In 2014, they were an intern at Sykes in Budapest, Hungary, responsible for the set-up of a customer service centre for the Dutch and Belgian region of their client Huawei Technologies. In 2017, they were a Graduate Research Intern at Makro Cash & Carry, where they conducted a qualitative research to identify the role that business innovation could play in order to improve Makro's competitive position. In 2018, they worked as a Strategic Project Manager for Jan Linders, a Dutch grocery retailer. In 2020, they were an Operations Adviser for the Department of Corrections NZ, where they were responsible for management of community-based offenders and defendants subject to electronic monitoring. Finally, in 2021, they were a Strategic Policy & Innovation Adviser at Te Manatū Waka - Ministry of Transport (New Zealand). Theirfocus was on emerging technologies and how these innovations could shape the future of transport and deliver benefits to New Zealand. Currently, they are a Customer Success Manager at Futures Platform.
Joren Kruip has a diverse educational background. From 2006-2011, they attended SG Marianum Groenlo, where they obtained a Graduate VWO (Economie & Maatschappij), the highest educational highschool level. Joren then attended Radboud University from 2011-2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business administration / Bedrijfskunde. Joren continued their studies at Tilburg University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Marketing Management from 2015-2016, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Strategic Management (Entrepreneurship Track) from 2016-2017. In addition, Joren has obtained several certifications, including Designing in Complex Systems from ThinkPlace in December 2021, Ideation - Applied Innovation and Market Potential - Applied Innovation from Creative HQ in October 2021, Effective Writing for Ministers and Machinery of Government from Victoria University of Wellington in March 2021.
