Karen Richardson

Karen Richardson is an experienced instructional designer and educator currently working at Futures Without Violence since August 2015, where responsibilities include creating and implementing online training in collaboration with technical assistance providers. As the owner of Ivy Run LLC since September 2001, Karen also served as Executive Director of the Virginia Society for Technology in Education from 2010 to August 2022 and held positions as an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and consultant at ISTE during the same period. Karen's extensive involvement in the field includes a tenure as a board member for VSTE from 2003 to 2009. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Educational Technology and Leadership from William & Mary, a Master's Degree in English from West Chester University, and a BA in English from William & Mary.
