Stephen Lowe

Stephen Lowe has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Stephen is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at FuturU since 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at JoinedUp as the CTO from 2019 to 2023. Stephen also held the position of CTO at Student.com from 2017 to 2018. Stephen took a break during 2017 but returned to work the same year. Before joining Student.com, they worked at Paddy Power Betfair as the Director of Technology, Integration from 2016 to 2017. Stephen has also worked in various directorial roles at Betfair including Director of Technology, Infrastructure from 2015 to 2016, Director of Technology, Porto (Blip.pt) from 2014 to 2015, and Director of Technology, Exchange from 2013 to 2014. Stephen also served as the Head of Platform Development from 2011 to 2013, Development Team Lead from 2009 to 2011, and Senior .NET Developer from 2008 to 2009. Prior to their work at Betfair, Stephen was a Senior Developer at Siren from 2006 to 2008 and the Development Director at Pandemonium Software Ltd from 2004 to 2006. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Lead Developer at bSmart from 2000 to 2004 and as the Enterprise Group Manager at C.S.C from 1999 to 2000.

Stephen Lowe attended The University of Manchester from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pure Mathematics and Computer Science.
