João Sarabando Santos

João Sarabando Santos has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2009, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at JAG Power S.A., where they were responsible for project management, resource management, and financial budgeting. From 2010 to 2011, they interned as an Electronic Engineer at Bright Blue, overseeing HW production and design, as well as HW/SW development and testing.

In 2011, João joined PT Inovação - Altice Labs as a Telecommunications Engineer, where they were responsible for networks design, deployment, and commissioning. João also handled technical and financial proposals and responded to RFPs. From 2016 to 2019, they served as a Project Manager at PT Inovação - Altice Labs, managing the implementation of integrated solutions projects, creating project plans and budgets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

From 2019 to 2020, João worked at GoContact as part of the Network Operations Center (NOC) team. João'sresponsibilities included analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving incidents and problems related to VoIP, Systems & Networking. João also monitored systems, networks, and distributed solutions and maintained the general availability of the core infrastructure.

Earlier in their career, from 2002 onwards, João was associated with Municípios Sem Fronteiras, initially as a Partner and later in the role of Organização Eventos. This involved organizing an annual event called "Municípios Sem Fronteiras" that encompassed various municipalities, attracting thousands of participants and spectators and combining elements of sports, culture, and leisure.

João Sarabando Santos obtained a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro, from 2003 to 2009. In November 2012, they received certifications for "Fundamentals of MPLS," "GPON: Network Project," and "GPON: Customer" from PT Inovação e Sistemas. In October 2011, they obtained the "Fundamentals of GPON" certification from the same institution. Furthermore, they acquired the "Advanced IP" certification from PT Inovação e Sistemas in September 2011. Prior to these certifications, in June 2010, they completed the "Design of Solar Systems" course at the Instituto de Especialização Profissional, Matosinhos. Lastly, in December 2009, João Sarabando Santos obtained the "Pedagogical Aptitude" certification from Multiaveiro.
