Lisa Killian has extensive experience in the veterinary field. Lisa started their career in 1999 as a Veterinarian at Animal Medical and Surgical Hospital. In 2000, they moved to Hunters Glen Veterinary Hospital as a DVM. In 2003, they joined Banfield, The Pet Hospital, where they held the roles of Veterinarian, Medical Director, Area Chief of Staff, Partner Veterinarian, and Associate Veterinarian. In 2013, they moved to San Francisco SPCA as Vice President of Veterinary Services. In 2018, they took on the role of Medical Director at Fuzzy - The Pet Parent Company. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Medical Director at VCA Tamalpais Animal Hospital.
Lisa Killian has a long and distinguished educational history. Lisa began their studies at La Porte High School, before moving on to the University of Houston, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology/Sociology. Lisa then transferred to Texas A&M University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Science in 1995 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.
