Winnie Yau

Winnie Yau is an experienced professional in operations and risk management within the insurance industry, currently serving as AVP of Group Operations Strategy and Management at FWD Insurance since December 2022. Prior to this role, Winnie worked as Head of Operations and Risk Control at AGBA from June 2021 to August 2022, and held the position of Chief Operating Officer for the Ping An (HK) Preparatory Team from January 2020 to February 2021. Winnie has also served as Head of Operations at Fubon Life Insurance (HK) from February 2017 to July 2019, and at Aviva Life Insurance Company Limited from October 2008 to January 2017, where responsibilities included multiple leadership roles in operations. The career began as a Medical Underwriter at New York Life Insurance Company from December 2002 to October 2008. Education includes attendance at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2018, and the University of Newcastle.
