Jamil Hamilton

Jamil Hamilton is an experienced professional in criminal justice reform and public policy advocacy with a robust background in organizing and strategic mobilization. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at FWD.us since October 2020, Jamil previously held the role of Manager of Public Policy and Advocacy at NAMI-NYC, where responsibilities included establishing a new department and executing influential advocacy campaigns. Earlier experience includes roles as a Campaign Organizer for the Communications Workers of America, a Labor Organizer/Rep for SEIU Local 721, and a Teaching Fellow with Princeton in Asia, where Jamil managed classrooms and engaged with diverse stakeholders. Jamil holds a degree from Georgetown University, class of 2015.
