Susie Haslett

Director, Immigration Capacity Building at FWD.us

Susie Haslett has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations and roles. In 2009, they worked as a Volunteer Trainer for Reform Immigration FOR America. In 2010, they interned at the Center for Community Change and also served as a Coordinator for Promise Arizona Out-of-State Recruitment, where they coordinated logistics for volunteer trainings and recruited out-of-state volunteers. In 2012, Susie worked as a Field Organizer for Organizing for America Nevada. In 2013, they joined Organizing for Action as an Issue Organizer, focusing on Immigration and Gun Violence Prevention. Later in 2013, they became an Organizer for Enroll America. In 2014, Susie worked as a Central Area Regional Field Coordinator for the National Association of Letter Carriers, AFL-CIO. Most recently, in 2015, they assumed the role of Policy Training Director for FWD.us.

Susie Haslett attended Arizona State University from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Transborder Chicana/o & Latina/o Studies, with a focus on Immigration Policy & Economy. Additionally, they also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government.
