Michael Lawson Pt, Dpt

Michael Lawson, PT, DPT is a Sports Physical Therapist at FX Physical Therapy since January 2023, with previous experience at Pivot Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist. Lawson developed clinical skills as a Student Physical Therapist at MedStar National Rehabilitation Network and completed multiple clinical rotations at various facilities, including outpatient and acute care settings. Prior to professional roles, Lawson gained valuable experience as a Lifeguard at the University of Maryland URecFit, and worked as a Student Observer at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore Graduate School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island, where involvement in athletics and tutoring student athletes also took place.
