Walter Q.

Walter Q. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Walter is currently the Co-Founder, CTO, and COO of FynOps, where they focus on democratizing enterprise-grade financial technologies for startups and small-to-midsize businesses.

Prior to their current role, Walter held various positions at PwC, including Director of AI & Emerging Tech and Senior Manager in the Conversational Systems and Emerging Technology Lab. Their responsibilities involved delivering global conversational systems and solutions, architecting and developing a conversational system that connects multiple communications channels to AI systems, and assessing new and emerging technologies for enhancing the human experience.

Before joining PwC, Walter worked at BGT Partners as a Senior Technical Lead, where they provided technical guidance and support on projects for Fortune 500 clients. Walter co-authored the BGT C# Standards & Best Practices document and implemented processes for application lifecycle management.

Walter also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Sports Logic, where they introduced Scrum methodologies to the team, and as a Co-Founder and CTO of Need Marketing Group and Qnovations Corporation. In these roles, they developed scalable web applications and content management systems using ASP.NET and VB.NET.

Early in their career, Walter served as a Webmaster at CHS Latin America, Inc., where they redesigned an eCommerce site, managed the site transition through a Management Buy-Out, and collaborated with marketing professionals on online marketing campaigns for renowned IT industry leaders.

Throughout their career, Walter has demonstrated expertise in emerging technologies, architecture, development, and project management. Walter has strong experience in financial technologies, conversational systems, application lifecycle management, and web development.

Walter Q.'s education history begins in 1990 when they attended the NEW WORLD SCHOOL OF THE ARTS PTSA. Walter pursued a field of study in Visual Arts during their time at the school, which lasted until 1994.

In terms of additional certifications, Walter attained various qualifications in recent years. In 2017, they completed the course "Design Thinking: Venture Design" offered by Lynda.com. Additionally, they acquired the certification "Shane Snow on Storytelling" from the same institution.

In 2018, Walter obtained certifications in "Blockchain Basics" and "Blockchain: Beyond the Basics" from LinkedIn. Most recently, in 2020, they acquired certifications as an "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and as a "TechSmith Camtasia 2020 Explorer" from TechSmith Corporation.
