Claudia Nassif

Claudia Nassif has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Claudia is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of FYTA, a position they have held since March 2018. Prior to this, they worked for The World Bank in various roles, including Lead Economist and Program Leader from March 2015 to February 2018, Senior Country Economist from October 2013 to February 2015, and Country Economist from July 2007 to June 2010. From July 2010 to September 2013, they served as a Senior Country Economist and Country Sector Coordinator at The World Bank. Claudia also worked as a Young Professional at The World Bank from January 2005 to June 2007. Before joining The World Bank, they were a Research Associate and Teaching Assistant at the University of Potsdam from April 2000 to December 2004. In addition, Claudia worked as an Economist at the Delegation of the European Commission from October 2000 to January 2002.

Claudia Nassif has a diverse educational background. In 1997, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Essen-Duisburg, which they obtained in 2000. Following this, they engaged in further academic pursuits and entered the University of Potsdam in 2002. However, their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Macroeconomics was discontinued, suggesting that they did not complete the program. In 2010, Claudia briefly attended the Harvard Kennedy School, participating in an Executive Program focused on the Cutting Edge of Development Thinking.
