Amy Schlossenberg

Amy Schlossenberg has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fitness and wellness industry. Amy'smost recent role is as the Fitness & Wellness Director at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, where they oversee the operation of their Wellness Center and provides medical exercise services to clients. Prior to that, they were the Owner/Personal Trainer of Fitness Empowered, Inc. from 2020 to 2021. Amy also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Club Spa and Fitness Association from 2017 to 2021. Amy has held various positions throughout their career, including Director of Fitness/Personal Trainer at Lakewood Country Club, Assistant Manager/Member Services Director at Regency Sport & Health Club and Rio Sport & Health Club, and Fitness Center Director/Personal Trainer at Columbia Country Club. Furthermore, they started their career as a Health Promotions Coordinator at the Employee Services & Recreation Association Fitness Center in 1997. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2014, a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor from the Titleist Performance Institute in 2012, a Certified Personal Trainer from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in 1992, a Group Exercise Instructor from the AFAA in 1991, a Medical Exercise Specialist (MES) from the Medical Exercise Training Institute in 2021, and a Perinatal Fitness and Wellness Specialist from Healthy Moms Pre/Postnatal Fitness Programs. Amy also holds a certification as a Post Rehabilitation Conditioning Specialist from the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehabilitation Professionals.
