Nilesh Hampiholi

Nilesh Hampiholi is currently a Scientific Researcher at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik and MAN Truck & Bus SE, positions held since March 2023. Previously, Nilesh completed a Master Thesis at Philips Medical Systems DMC GmbH focused on real-time object detection and collision avoidance. Experience as a Software Developer specializing in Data Science at wearTell involved data acquisition and signal processing. Nilesh served as a Tutor in Control Systems at Hamburg University of Technology and conducted a Bachelor Thesis on a self-balancing vehicle at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. Additional roles include an internship at Altigreen Propulsion Labs designing electric and hybrid drive systems, managing a student team for SAE Aero-Design Challenge, and working on sensor data fusion during an internship at Swaayatt Robots. Nilesh holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. Educational background also includes Pre-University studies in Science and schooling at St Xaviers High School Belgaum.
