Tim Joseph

Tim Joseph is a Research Scientist at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik since January 2020, with prior experience as a Master Thesis Project member at Fraunhofer IOSB and a Research Intern at Volkswagen AG. Tim's internship at Volkswagen AG focused on deep learning methods for trajectory prediction in autonomous driving, implementing preprocessing algorithms and a research prototype. Previously, as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IOSB, Tim explored state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms for action recognition from videos. Earlier experience includes a role as a Working Student at Bosch, responsible for managing a measuring device application and enforcing calibration deadlines. Tim holds a PhD in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, anticipated in 2024, along with a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the same institution and the University of Stuttgart, respectively.
