Camilo Bernal

Camilo Bernal, CISA, has extensive work experience in the field of IT internal audit and SOX compliance. Camilo currently holds the position of Director, IT Internal Audit & SOX at Liberty Latin America since March 2021. Prior to this, Camilo worked at Cable & Wireless Communications, where they held the roles of Senior Manager, IT SOX from April 2019 to March 2021, and Manager, IT SOX from November 2017 to March 2019. Before joining Cable & Wireless Communications, Camilo worked at EY as a Manager in Advisory Services from October 2016 to November 2017, and as a Senior in Advisory Services from July 2015 to October 2016. Camilo also gained experience as a Senior IT Consultant at Advaion, LLC from June 2014 to July 2015. Camilo's career started at EY as a Senior in IT Risk and Assurance from May 2011 to May 2014. Camilo initially worked at American Express as an Industrial Engineer from November 2010 to May 2011.

Camilo Bernal, CISA has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Florida International University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Camilo also has a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the Florida International University - College of Business, completed in 2010.
