Willy Wong

Willy Wong is an experienced technology leader specializing in database platform engineering and reliability. Currently serving as Manager of Database Platform Engineering at G-Research, Willy has previously held significant roles at The Walt Disney Company, including Senior Manager of Database Reliability Engineering and Manager of Database Services, where management encompassed teams supporting major business segments and overseeing thousands of databases. Willy's expertise extends to architectural design and implementation, with notable positions at Ecinity and Centavi Systems, as well as a pioneering role in developing the first Asian search engine at Interactive Personal Offering Inc. Willy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
