Lily Henderson

Lily Henderson, CPA, has a varied work experience spanning different roles and industries. Lily started their career as an Accounting Intern at La Farm Bakery in 2014, where they gained practical knowledge in accounting. Lily then worked as a University Tutor at Appalachian State University from 2013 to 2014, providing academic support to students. In 2015, Lily joined Venture Back Office as an Accounting Intern, further developing their skills in the field.

In 2017, they transitioned to Grant Thornton LLP, where they served as an Audit Associate until 2019. During their time at Grant Thornton LLP, Lily gained experience in auditing, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and conducting detailed financial analysis.

Since 2019, Lily has been with G1 Therapeutics, Inc., initially working as a Senior Accountant and later advancing to the role of Manager, Finance in January 2022. In their current position, they oversee financial operations, manages budgets, and provides strategic guidance to the company.

Lily Henderson, CPA, has a strong educational background in accounting. Lily completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Appalachian State University from 2012 to 2016. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Accounting at the same institution from 2016 to 2017. Lily further expanded their skills by obtaining a Certificate in Marketing and Sales from Wake Technical Community College in 2020.

In addition to their extensive education, Lily has also earned the esteemed designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in October 2018. This certification was awarded to their by the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners. These accomplishments demonstrate Lily's dedication and commitment to their profession.
