Dr. Maria Fernanda Reyes

Dr. (HC) Maria Fernanda Reyes serves as the Global Advocacy Manager and Regulatory Affairs Manager for North America at AgroFresh, a company focused on delivering integrated solutions for post-harvest freshness and quality. Additionally, Maria is the G100 Global Chair for Agriculture, Agritourism, and Agtech, as well as the President of the Women Economic Forum in New York, both roles contributing to gender equality and empowerment. As the Founder and President of AdoptaHero, Maria advocates for impactful initiatives. Previous experience includes positions in global regulatory affairs and sustainability at Agrinos, global customer services at Cummins Inc., and training management at Walmart. Maria holds multiple degrees, including a BA in Business with Marketing Management and a certification in Sustainability Studies from Stanford University, as well as an Honoris Causa in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from Jharkhand Rai University.
