Product Lead at G2 Esports

Daniel Chan has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Daniel currently works at G2 Esports as a Product Lead, where they are responsible for project collaborations and defining the integration of G2 IP in web3 games and metaverses. Daniel successfully launched the first PFP project by a global esports brand, with a 6K collection sell-out on Solana. Additionally, at G2 Esports, they served as a Product Manager, where they designed the product value-proposition, go-to-market strategy, and directed the art and narrative direction for the sold-out collection launch. Daniel also managed partner relationships with companies like BMW, Pringles, Solana Foundation, Aim Lab, and Domino's Pizza, coordinating various activations.

Prior to their role at G2 Esports, Daniel worked at ForwardPMX as a Senior Programmatic Manager. In this role, they developed best practices for the programmatic trading department and led Nike's performance campaign activation across EMEA and emerging markets. Before that, they worked at MiQ as a Programmatic Trader, where they traded across 38 accounts and managed campaigns for clients like Tesco, TUI, and the Government.

Daniel also has experience in project management, having interned at Riot Games as a Project Manager, where they successfully created and launched an international tournament system. In addition, they co-founded the first esports society at UCL, growing it to a community of over 300 people and managing PR, website, social channels, and club activities. Daniel also interned at SG Gaming as a Yield Analyst, where they produced analysis that identified potential revenue gains and presented actionable recommendations to upper management.

Daniel Chan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from UCL from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Pate's Grammar School from 2005 to 2012, where they studied Economics at the secondary school level. Daniel also holds additional certifications as an ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) and an ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF) from ICAgile.
