Chris Palmer, ASA, CFA, has extensive experience in commodity risk management and trading. Chris is currently the Director of Commodity Risk at G3, where they have been working since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Trader in Commodity Risk Management at G3 from August 2015 to September 2021.

Before joining G3, Chris worked at CWB, a financial institution, from August 2008 to August 2015. Chris served as a Trader from August 2012 to August 2015 and as a Technical Risk Analyst from June 2008 to July 2012.

From September 2004 to June 2008, Chris worked at Great-West Life as a Senior Analyst.

Overall, Chris Palmer has a strong background in commodity risk management, trading, and financial analysis, making him an experienced and knowledgeable professional in their field.

Chris Palmer, ASA, CFA holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Alberta, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics from Brandon University, where they studied from 1995 to 2001. Additionally, they hold the certification of Associate of the Society of Actuaries from the Society of Actuaries and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst, certified by the CFA Institute.

Farmers deliver direct to our port facilities in Hamilton, ON and Trois Rivieres, QC.
