Praveenkumar Kanithi

Praveenkumar Kanithi is an experienced applied scientist currently working at G42 Healthcare since June 2020, focusing on synthetic data generation and the development of tools for creating synthetic electronic health records (EHR) while ensuring patient privacy. Prior to this position, Praveenkumar served as a research scholar at MARS Bioimaging Ltd from March 2017 to May 2020, where efforts were directed towards developing interactive image segmentation algorithms. Praveenkumar also gained experience as a computer vision and machine learning intern at Spot This, contributing to a fashion recommendation system using deep learning techniques. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury, a Master's degree in Medical Imaging and Informatics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies.
