Riyad Abbasakoor

Riyad Abbasakoor, FCA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Commercial Finance Director at G42 Healthcare since September 2021. Prior to this role, Riyad held various positions, including Chief Financial Officer at DEX, where responsibilities included launching global operations and regulatory approvals for the Digital Asset Exchange. Riyad is also a founder of QuantumX, which focuses on digital transformational technologies in the MENA region. Additional experience includes positions at Etisalat as Finance Director, British Telecommunications plc in financial planning and analysis, and assurance roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Mazars. Riyad holds a BSc in Management Sciences from The London School of Economics and Political Science and completed FCA qualification through ICAEW, alongside further education at MIT in digital transformation.
