Tracey Kennedy is a distinguished educational leader and advocate within the GAA community, holding the position of School Principal at Carrignafoy Community College since October 2019. Notably, Tracey serves as a member of the GAA national governing body, making history as the first female elected to this role in February 2024. Prior involvement with Cork GAA includes roles as Central Council Delegate, Chairperson, and Vice Chairman, all of which contributed to Tracey's reputation as a pioneer for women's representation within the organization. With a diverse background in teaching French and English across various secondary schools and expertise in managing press and communications, Tracey has made significant contributions to education and sports governance. Additionally, Tracey possesses a strong academic foundation, holding multiple degrees from University College Cork, including a Master of Education and a Master of Arts in English, alongside certifications in coaching and law.
