Jan Pieruń

Jan Pieruń has worked in a variety of roles in the finance and analytics industries. From 2012 to 2020, they have held positions at Infosys BPO, Royal Bank of Scotland, International Organization for Migration - IOM, UNIQA Insurance Group AG, and EY. In 2012, they began as a Senior Expense Management Process Executive at Infosys BPO. In 2013, they moved to Royal Bank of Scotland as a Business Analyst. In 2014, they became a Finance Analyst at International Organization for Migration - IOM. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at UNIQA Insurance Group AG, first as a Head Analyst and then as a Senior Data Analyst. In 2020, they began working at EY as a Senior Statutory Reporting Consultant. Most recently, in 2020, they began working at Gabi as an Analytics Manager. In this role, they lead a team of data engineers and analysts and provides visibility into the current business with the use of BI tools and helps shape future business with the use of advanced analytics. Jan also works with ETL, managing analytical database, pipelines, external data integrations, microservices, data sharing, Looker instance maintenance, development and optimization, custom reporting, predictive analytics, introducing machine learning to GABI, LTV calculation with the survival analysis, book of business valuation, retention, churn analysis, process automation through data, and ad-hoc requests.

Jan Pieruń obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Lodz in 2012, followed by a Master's degree in Business Management from Lodz University of Technology in 2015. Additionally, Jan obtained a Quality Assurance Certificate from the Network of Central and Eastern European Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education in July 2008 and an Oracle Database 11g: PL/SQL certificate from Langolian in April 2017.
