Jean Louis Chaussade

Mr. Jean-Louis Chaussade has been appointed as a Director of the GSB with effect from January 2021.

Jean-Louis is currently the Chairman of JLCH Conseil, Paris. He has been associated with the SUEZ Group for over four decades holding positions of increasing responsibility spanning various geographies of the world, and he left the group as the Chairman of its Board in May 2020.

Jean-Louis holds key positions on Boards of various organisations and bodies including Vice-Chairman of the France-China Committee, Vice Chairman of Seoul International Business Advisory Council (SIBAC), Chairman of the Strategic Committee for Waste Processing and Recovery (CSF) and Special Advisor of Accuracy, a large French consulting firm.

Jean-Louis holds the cause of sustainability and circular economy very close to his heart, and his tenure has seen SUEZ become a leader of environmental transformation.

He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from ESTP Paris and a master’s degree in Economics from Sorbonne University, France. He is also a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (The Paris Institute of Political Studies) and the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

ANAND’s association with Jean-Louis goes back to when ANAND had a joint venture with Degrémont, France.
