Patrik Halldén

Group Vice President, Human Resources at GAC

Patrik Halldén is the Group Vice President of Human Resources at GAC. Patrik has over 25 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Halldén began their career in 1985 as an Operations Assistance for Olson& Wright AB. Patrik then became an Area Sales Manager for Gripen Shipping AB in 1987. In 1989, they were promoted to Line Manager - Contship and then to Managing Director at Contship Sweden AB in 1996. In 1998, they became the Business Manager - Shipping Services for GAC Kuwait Ltd. Patrik served in that role for four years before being promoted to General Manager of GAC Oman Ltd, a position they held for twelve years. In 2012, they returned to Kuwait as the Group Vice President of Human Resources for GAC.

Patrik Halldén has a certification from the London Business School in Human Resource Strategy in Transforming Organisations. Patrik also has a certification from CoachCompanion of Scandinavia AB - www.coachcompanion.se in Diploma in Coaching according to International Coach Federation ACTP on ACC Level.

They work with Thomas Okbo - Group Vice President Africa, Ivo Verheyen - Group Vice President Europe, and Martin Wallgren - Group Chief Information Officer. Patrik Halldén reports to Bengt Ekstrand, President.
