Arun Soman

Arun Soman has several years of experience in the software industry. Arun is currently working as a Product Owner at Gadgeon Systems Inc. Their role and tenure there started in June 2022. Before joining Gadgeon Systems Inc., Arun worked at Thomsun Infocare as an Associate Product Manager from March 2021 to June 2022, and as a Senior Business Analyst from August 2020 to March 2021. Prior to that, Arun was employed at IBS Software, where they held various roles including Solution Architect from July 2019 to August 2020, Technical Lead from August 2015 to July 2019, Senior Software Engineer from August 2012 to August 2015, and Software Engineer from August 2010 to August 2012. During their time at IBS Software, Arun gained valuable experience working with different teams and handling projects in the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul industry and the airline domain. Arun also took on responsibilities such as automating the release management process and providing architecture support to customers.

Arun Soman pursued their education in a chronological manner. Arun started with their schooling at St. Mary's L.P. School Pallippuram from 1994 to 1998, where they completed their SSLC. Arun then attended St. Theresa's High School Manappuram from 1998 to 2004, completing their +2 degree.

Moving forward, Arun went on to study at Holy Family HSS Cherthala from 2004 to 2006, specializing in Computer Science. Arun then joined the University of Calicut from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a B-Tech degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Later, Arun pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations Management and Supervision from Sikkim Manipal University - Distance Education from 2015 to 2017.

Additionally, Arun obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in February 2022, Scrum for Product Owners from Udemy in July 2021, Foundations of Project Management from Google in May 2021, Become an Agile Project Manager from LinkedIn in April 2021, and Team Kanban Practitioner from Kanban University in April 2021.
