Guillermo Carmona

Guillermo Carmona has extensive work experience in the education sector. Guillermo started their career as a teacher at Sunrise Elementary in Las Cruces Public Schools from 2004 to 2010. Guillermo then joined the New Mexico Public Education Department as a Professional Development Dossier Reviewer from 2006 until 2022. Carmona returned to Las Cruces Public Schools in 2010 as an Assistant Principal, later becoming a Principal from 2015 to 2018. Guillermo then transitioned to Gadsden Independent Schools, where they served as an Elementary School Principal from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Social Media at Gadsden Independent Schools.

Guillermo Carmona holds a Master's degree in Educational Management and Development from New Mexico State University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the same university between 1995 and 2000, specializing in K-8 Education.
