Dan Hua

Dan Hua has an extensive work experience in the field of product design and industrial design. Dan currently holds the position of Manager, Product Design at GAF Energy since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Mizuho OSI as an Industrial Designer, focusing on Human Factors and User Experience from July 2019 to November 2021.

From 2017 to 2019, Dan worked as a Contractor at Product Professional, where they provided expertise in Industrial Design, User Centered Design, and Product Experience. Dan was involved in CAD design and development, as well as creating sketches and prototypes to visualize and communicate solutions. Dan also collaborated with Newsroom Editors and Journalists on special projects and solved complex design problems.

Before that, Dan held various positions in the industry. Dan worked as a Senior Manager, User Experience Center at LeEco US from June 2016 to July 2017, leading user research, cross-functional management of product experience, and participating in user experience testing for consumer electronic accessories. Dan also served as a Product Manager, Accessories/Special Projects at Hewlett-Packard from March 2014 to June 2016, where they created product roadmaps and managed the creation of prototypes and market samples.

Dan also has experience as an owner of Dragon Industrial Design & Development, LLC. from January 2011 to March 2014, as well as working at BDA, Inc. as a Senior Product Development Manager from September 2012 to November 2013.

Dan'searlier experiences include positions at Panasonic Cloud Entertainment as a Senior Design Consultant: Accessories from July 2010 to January 2011, Monster Cable Products, Inc. as an Industrial Design Manager from September 2007 to June 2010, and Lathrop Engineering as a Senior Industrial Designer from November 2004 to August 2007.

Dan Hua completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from San Jose State University, between the years 1996 and 2000.
