CMO at Gaia

Olivia Borsje has a strong background in marketing and brand strategy. Olivia currently holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Gaia, starting in June 2023. Previously, they served as the CMO at Ladder Life from May 2019 to June 2023.

Prior to that, Olivia was Vice President of Marketing at Earnin from November 2017 to May 2018. In this role, they built and developed the marketing team, created brand strategies, expanded user acquisition, and established early retention and public relations programs.

Before Earnin, Olivia worked at Thumbtack as the Head of Brand from April 2015 to October 2017. Olivia was responsible for leading a creative team and executing various marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Olivia's experience also includes a role at Dropbox as a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for Brand & Campaigns from October 2013 to April 2015. Here, they focused on positioning and messaging for Dropbox Business and drove monetization through consumer upsell and targeted B2B campaigns.

During their time at Symantec, Olivia held two roles. From October 2012 to October 2013, they served as a Digital Marketing Strategist, where they defined and implemented global strategies to grow Symantec's eCommerce engine. Prior to that, from June 2009 to October 2012, they rapidly climbed the ranks from Marketing Associate to Global Principal PMM, leading the marketing efforts for a suite of Symantec cloud products.

Olivia Borsje started their education at EABJM from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Math and Science French "Baccalaureat" with Honors. Olivia then attended Université Paris Dauphine - PSL from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Maitrise degree in Economics, Business Management, and Marketing. In 2012, they furthered their education at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, specializing in Financial Analysis for Non-Financial Executives.
