Bert Willis

QC Lab Manager at Gaia Herbs

Bert Willis has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and research fields. Bert started their career as a Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute in 2005, where they developed phage-polyacrylamide hydrogels, synthesized and bioconjugated nicotine haptens, and designed novel slow-release adjuvants. In 2008, they joined PharmAgra Labs, Inc. as a Research Chemist until 2014. During this time, they conducted research and analysis in the field. Since 2014, Bert has been working at Gaia Herbs, initially as a Data Reviewer and later as the QC Lab Manager. Their responsibilities in this role include reviewing data, managing the lab operations, and ensuring quality control.

Bert Willis pursued their education with dedication and achieved noteworthy milestones. Bert began their academic journey in 1996 at Georgia Southern University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1999. Following this, they went on to further their knowledge in the field of Organic Chemistry at Clemson University. From the years 1999 to 2005, Bert undertook extensive studies and graduated with a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Organic Chemistry. Their educational background provides a solid foundation for their expertise in the field.
