Michael Musangu

Michael Musangu, B.S., is an aspiring healthcare professional with extensive experience in laboratory and clinical environments. Currently serving as a Laboratory Technician Intern at Hemex Health, Inc., Michael supports testing protocols for the Gazelle diagnostic device and its clinical trials. Previous roles include Emergency Department Scribe at ScribeAmerica, where Michael collaborated closely with physicians to document patient information and enhance care delivery. As the UP HOSA Chapter President, Michael established Oregon's first collegiate HOSA chapter, and has held leadership positions in Oregon HOSA, focusing on membership development and chapter finance management. Earlier experience as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy equipped Michael with essential skills in pharmaceuticals and customer service. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Portland and has an educational background from various institutions, including Portland State University and the Oregon Institute of Technology.
