Abhijeet Ajmera

Abhijeet Ajmera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the natural gas transmission sector, currently serving as Sr. Manager in Mechanical Maintenance at GAIL (India) Limited since August 2011. Responsibilities include overseeing the operation and maintenance of cross-country natural gas pipelines and compressor stations, alongside facility upgrades and process modifications. Previous roles at GAIL included Manager and Sr. Engineer, contributing to major pipeline projects such as the Dhabol–Bangalore Gas Pipeline, where land acquisition and on-site progress monitoring were key duties. Abhijeet began the career with internships at VE Commercial Vehicles Limited and Tata Motors, focusing on quality assurance and system design in mechanical engineering.
